Effective May 1, 2011 the NJ Sleeper-Berth Idling Exemption Expires. Only trucks with 2007 engine model years or newer will be allowed to idle Thursday, April 28, 2011 Effective May 1, 2011 the NJ Sleeper-Berth Idling Exemption Expires. Only trucks with 2007 engine model years or newer will be allowed to idle while complying with federal hours of service rest.
