Somerset Patriots players will be available during the pre-game to sign autographs. News organizations and camera crews from throughout the metropolitan area are being invited to help record what we expect will be an iconic photograph that we hope will be circulated widely - in between innings, everyone will be asked to stand up and wave their flags for an extended period of time to enable cameras to freeeze that moment for all to see for years to come - thousands of American flags waving is a swirl of red, white and blue . . . We need you, your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. to all join in and help show America and our troops overseas that we are all proud to be Americans. I have 500 reserved seats in sections 201-205 that need to be sold to help OPSHBX NJ defray the sponsorship costs associated with this game. I would ask that all of you please purchase ticket(s) to this game and show your support of the red, white & blue . . . Tickets are $9 each. Please let me know as soon as possible how many tickets you would like to purchase and I will put them aside for you. Operation Shoebox New Jersey is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. All donations are tax deductible. This promises to be an evening to remember . . . please make plans to be a part of it. Thanks for all you. Please let me hear from you soon. Message from the President- February 2011 I recently had the privilege of representing the NJMTA at a reception held at the Governor's residence Drumthwacket. We were invited due to the generosity of two of our members, Lacey's Express, Inc. and National Retail Systems, Inc. who responded to a request for tractor donations Message From President - January 2011 As I prepared to write my first article for the NJMTA membership as the acting President, my thoughts are focused on the recent tragedy that occurred in Arizona where a Congressman was seriously wounded and 6 others murdered at a political rally. I find myself asking just what is happening to our country.
